DAVIS FILMMAKING SOCIETY

(2024-25)

For the 2025 DFS Film Fest, I developed a retro-inspired visual identity built around a cream, teal, orange, and brown color palette that evoked the 1970s and 80s aesthetic. The system centered on the film festival’s bold clapperboard-style lockup, paired with layered geometric shapes, dotted film-strip textures, and sweeping ribbon graphics that gave the campaign motion and energy across formats.

I applied this identity consistently across the event poster, Instagram announcement graphics, and call-for-submissions assets, adjusting layout and hierarchy for each platform while keeping the palette and typography unified. Since DFS reinvents its Film Fest branding every year, this identity was designed to feel distinct from past iterations while still delivering a cohesive, festival-ready look across every touchpoint.

2025 DFS FILM FEST

As Associate Publicist for the Davis Filmmaking Society, I designed promotional materials to support DFS productions and events. I primarily created visual assets for social media campaigns and event promotion, including posters, flyers, digital graphics, and merchandise.

Working closely with the Publicity Director, I coordinated on branding consistency across DFS initiatives and announcements, ensuring every asset reflected the organization’s visual identity. I was also responsible for producing the brand identity of the annual DFS Film Fest, shaping how the organization's flagship event was presented to the public.
